Oryon’s search visibility: the checks before discussing results
Monitoring the Oryon website on 1 October 2026: publication checks and five new pages confirmed as indexed. The observations, their dates and their limitations.
How does Oryon check its own website’s search visibility?
We check published pages, their canonical addresses, indexing directives and the sitemap, then consult the indexed version in Search Console. On 1 October 2026, between 11:38 and 11:40 Paris time, the three new guides and the two project pages were shown as indexed. This observation measures neither their rankings nor the business enquiries received.
On 1 October 2026, we published a page about SEO Studio on oryon-tech.com. The aim was to make the editorial subscription identifiable, with its process, conditions and links from existing pages. Here are the checks performed on our own website and how to reproduce them.
This case retains the checks from the first delivery and supplements them with observations made after three guides and two project pages were published. Each result remains associated with its observation time and limitations, without attributing an increase in traffic, business enquiries or visibility in AI answers to it.
Give SEO Studio a clear address
Our SEO, AEO and GEO consulting page already described a service defined by a quote. SEO Studio addresses a different need: preparing articles with AI, having Oryon review them and publishing them on a connected blog with the client’s permission. A dedicated page makes the subscription’s terms readable without confusing them with consulting work.
We added descriptive links from the home page, footer and existing offer. To verify this journey, start from the home page and open SEO Studio: the main heading, content and address should identify the same offer. The consulting page retains its own address.
Check the delivery’s 25 URLs
At 09:26 Paris time, our production observation covered the 25 public URLs then present in the sitemap. All returned HTTP 200, declared a consistent canonical address and had no noindex directive. This number describes the delivery before this article was added; the current sitemap may contain more pages.
Subsequent deliveries increased this scope to 28 URLs after the three guides were added, then to 30 URLs with the Tattoo Station and Favola-France project pages. These counts describe successive versions of the site checked on 1 October. They are not counts of pages indexed by Google.
On your site, open the sitemap URLs, then examine the document response in the browser’s Network tab. Compare its final address and canonical tag. Check the main heading and look for any noindex directive in the HTML and X-Robots-Tag header. At Oryon, robots rules already allowed public pages: we did not expand access to private paths.
Correct sitemap dates without making everything look newer
A common date of 17 September no longer correctly described every page. The SEO offer had evolved with the subscription, its conditions and then clarifications about review. We assigned dates per page based on verified editorial changes. Other services retained 17 September; contractual texts changed on 30 September kept that date.
Google recommends reserving lastmod for significant, accurate changes. To check your sitemap, compare each date with the change actually delivered. A new site build should not make every page appear newer. When we do not have a confirmed editorial date, we omit this information.
Distinguish access, requests and indexing
At 09:28, Search Console’s live test indicated that Google could access the SEO Studio page and that it could be indexed. The indexing request was then accepted. These observations concern this URL: they do not automatically validate every page on the website.
The live test examines the page accessible at the time of the check; it does not confirm its entry into the index or Google’s final canonical choice. Information about the indexed version must be consulted separately. A request invites Google to crawl the page without guaranteeing indexing.
We also received an HTTP 200 response from IndexNow for four changed URLs: home page, SEO Studio, SEO service and FAQ. This receipt attests to that service accepting the notification. It is neither confirmation of indexing nor a request sent to Google.
Document identity and accessible content
We published humans.txt with the publisher’s public information, and llms.txt with a description of the activity and a selection of public links. Both files returned HTTP 200 after delivery. Their content comes from website data to limit identity discrepancies and outdated links.
You can open them directly and follow their links. They document the website without changing its crawling permissions. Google states that llms.txt is not used for its search, including its generative features. Its presence therefore does not justify announcing a ranking improvement or an AI citation.
Five new pages confirmed as indexed on 1 October
Between 11:38 and 11:40 Paris time, we inspected each of the five new URLs separately in Search Console’s URL Inspection tool. For each, the indexed-version report displayed “URL is on Google”. According to Google’s documentation, this status means the URL is indexed and may appear in results, without guaranteeing its appearance for a particular search.
The times below are when we consulted the reports. They do not give the time the pages entered the index. The dates of Google’s data and the last crawl were not recorded in these observations; we therefore infer no indexing delay from them.
- 11:38: the French guide “SEO, AEO and GEO: what should a small business prioritise?” is shown as indexed.
- 11:39: the French guide “AI articles and SEO: what should a human review check?” is shown as indexed.
- 11:39: the French version of this case about Oryon’s website checks is shown as indexed.
- 11:39: the French Tattoo Station project page is shown as indexed.
- 11:40: the French Favola-France project page is shown as indexed.

Move from checks to observations
The five URLs in this observation now have confirmation of indexing. This finding does not automatically confirm indexing of SEO Studio or every other sitemap page. It also does not demonstrate that a page’s latest change already appears in the version retained by Google.
The next step is to observe search results and enquiries received over comparable periods. A useful record retains the URL, date, filters and exact conclusion. An accessible page, an indexed page and a page that brings a business enquiry represent three distinct observations.
For your project, this method supports a precise report: what changed, what was checked on the public domain and what remains to be observed. This is the scope we document before attributing a result to an SEO intervention.
