Mission illustration

A foundation you can work with.

Infrastructure that is monitored and documented.

How can we organise server and backup management?

Managed infrastructure supports businesses in administering Linux servers. It starts with an inventory and review, then organises monitoring, updates and backups with tested restoration. Interventions, procedures and follow-up are documented within an agreed scope.

What you receive

  • An inventory and documentation of servers, services and data flows
  • A backup plan with tested restoration and a measured recovery time
  • Monitoring and alerts for faults, certificates, disks and security
  • Reviewed and hardened access rights, with planned updates
  • Readable periodic reports: status, actions and recommendations

What this brings you

  • Know what runs, where and how to restart it
  • Backups whose restoration has been demonstrated by a test
  • One infrastructure contact with a traceable record of work

When can Oryon help?

  • Your servers run, but nobody really knows what happens on them
  • Backups exist but restoration has never been tested
  • An outage cost half a day because recovery took hours
  • You want proactive monitoring and alerts before an outage

How the work progresses

  1. Initial discussion and audit: current state, risks and priorities
  2. Action plan priced by work package, starting with the greatest risks
  3. Gradual implementation with necessary interruptions planned ahead
  4. Documented runbooks for recurring procedures
  5. Monthly follow-up with a report and review

What we need to plan together

  • We do not guarantee the absence of outages; we commit to a documented response
  • Access to accounts and servers must be made available
  • Production interventions are planned and announced in advance

Details of the work

Scope and deliverables

The work starts with an inventory of servers, services and data flows, followed by a review of risks and priorities. The action plan prices work packages and organises gradual implementation.

Depending on the agreed scope, management includes alerts, scheduled updates, access reviews and backups. A restoration test measures the real recovery time.

Integration and migration

Account and server access must be identified and supplied. Production work and necessary interruptions are planned and announced in advance.

Monitoring and backups cannot guarantee there will be no outage. Procedures prepare a documented response, with actions and intervention conditions defined in the agreed scope.

Maintenance and ownership

You receive an infrastructure inventory and documented procedures for recurring operations. Access, monitored services and recovery steps are described to support a handover.

Periodic reports describe server health, work completed and recommendations. Your team or another provider can use them to understand the infrastructure and ongoing work.

Technologies used

  • Linux (Debian / Ubuntu), systemd, encrypted backups and lightweight open monitoring

Frequently asked questions

Which Linux servers can you manage?

The service uses Linux environments, particularly Debian and Ubuntu, with systemd, encrypted backups and monitoring. The initial audit identifies your servers, services and access to define the actual scope.

How do you check that backups can be used?

The agreed backup plan includes a measured restoration test. It checks recovery and its real duration. The procedure and observations are documented for future interventions.

Does management include supplying or changing hosting?

The work covers administration of the infrastructure inventoried during the audit. Servers, monitored services and access are agreed with you. Hosting provision or migration must be included explicitly in the quote if needed.

Under what conditions do you intervene on our servers?

Production interventions are planned and announced in advance. The action plan prices work packages and documents recurring procedures. The agreed scope defines interventions and follow-up; the service does not guarantee the absence of outages.
