Mission illustration

See clearly. Decide with facts.

A report to help you choose your next actions.

How do we know which technical problems to address first?

A technical audit helps businesses decide what to do with a site, application or infrastructure. It examines the agreed scope using available access and information. You receive measured findings, ranked risks and prioritised recommendations, with a presentation and no obligation to commission fixes.

What you receive

  • A structured written audit with risks ranked by severity
  • Real measurements of performance, timings and margins
  • Prioritised recommendations with estimated effort in plain language
  • A presentation of the audit with no obligation to commission further work

What this brings you

  • Technical decisions based on measurements
  • A report you can show to any provider
  • An independent deliverable with no ongoing commitment

When can Oryon help?

  • You need an assessment before a purchase, merger or fundraising
  • Your site is slowing down and the cause may be code, database or hosting
  • You want an independent view before signing with a new provider
  • Nobody knows what backups, access or documentation exist

How the work progresses

  1. Prepare read-only access and a short questionnaire
  2. Investigate code, infrastructure, content and basic security
  3. Write a report based on measured facts
  4. Present the findings: you keep the report whatever you decide

What we need to plan together

  • The audit describes a point in time and does not replace ongoing maintenance
  • Attacks and intrusive testing require an explicit contractual framework

Details of the work

Scope and deliverables

The scope is agreed with you: application, website, database or infrastructure. It can examine performance, configuration, dependencies, access and available documentation.

The report brings together measured findings, risks ranked by severity and recommendations with estimated effort. The presentation helps you decide which actions to take and in what order.

Integration and migration

Investigation relies on read-only access and available information. The report states what was observed and what could not be verified, describing the system at the time of the audit.

A configuration and basic security review is not a penetration test. Attacks and intrusive tests need an explicit contractual framework and are not undertaken as part of a routine audit.

Maintenance and ownership

You receive the report at the end of the assignment. Use it to make internal decisions, compare proposals or engage another provider.

The audit does not require you to buy corrective work or maintenance. Any follow-up has a separate scope and quote.

Technologies used

  • Static analysis, performance profiling, configuration reviews and measurements

Frequently asked questions

What do we receive at the end of the audit?

A written report describing the system, measurements, ranked risks and prioritised recommendations with estimated effort. A presentation walks you through the findings.

Does the audit include penetration testing?

A routine audit may review configurations, access and basic security. It does not include attacks or intrusive testing without an explicit contractual framework.

Do we have to commission the fixes from you?

No. You retain the report without further commitment and can share it with your team or another provider. Corrections and maintenance are separate assignments.
